The beautiful, historical monument, Chateau de Cormatin is in the commune of Cormatin, just 30km from La Grange Fleurie.

The Chateau offers a tour (in French) but very informative guidebooks are provided in various languages on request.

This stunning chateau is surrounded by a large moat, and has beautiful gardens, a maze and a vegetable garden to explore. Once you are inside the chateau, you follow the guide and your guidebook as you explore the beautiful interiors consisting of original wall tapestries, paintings, furniture, painted wooden roofs, and lavishly decorated rooms.
